Becca & Josh’s Golden Hour Engagement Session
What a gorgeous evening celebrating Becca and Josh and this incredibly exciting chapter of their story before they say “I do.” ♥️
There’s something so special about an engagement session. It’s a chance to slow everything down, step away from the wedding planning for a little while, and simply enjoy being together — while capturing some beautiful memories along the way.
For Becca and Josh’s engagement shoot, we found the most beautiful hidden little spot tucked away amongst the trees. With the sound of water gently trickling in the background and greenery all around us, it felt wonderfully peaceful and secluded — the perfect setting for a relaxed evening together.
As the sun began to set, everything became even more magical. The light turned warm, soft and golden, filtering beautifully through the trees and giving us the dreamiest backdrop for their photographs. ☀️🌿
And yes… we even got our feet wet! 😍
Those are often my favourite moments during engagement sessions — when we forget about posing, embrace a little adventure and simply have fun. The result is photographs that feel natural and genuinely reflect the two of you.
Of course, we couldn’t let the evening pass without capturing that all-important sparkly ring!
Engagement sessions are about celebrating this whole chapter of your story — the excitement, the anticipation and all those little details that make this time so special.
It was such a pleasure spending the evening with Becca and Josh and capturing these memories for them. Their session was relaxed, romantic, a little adventurous and filled with gorgeous golden light — everything I love about photographing couples.
After such a lovely engagement session, I’m now even more excited to photograph Becca and Josh’s big day and capture the next part of their story.
If their engagement session is anything to go by, it’s going to be a beautiful one.
Congratulations, Becca and Josh — not long now until you say “I do!” ♥️
