A Beautiful New Chapter | Meg's Maternity Session

One of the greatest joys of being a family photographer is having the privilege of watching families grow, and it was so wonderful to catch up with Meg and her lovely family as they prepare to welcome their newest little addition.

It feels like only yesterday I was photographing another chapter of their story, and now they're getting ready to become a family of four. These are the moments that make my job so special—being invited back time and time again to document life's biggest milestones.

Their maternity session was relaxed, full of laughter, cuddles, and so much excitement for the weeks ahead. Big sibling was full of curiosity and affection, gently cuddling Mum's bump and already showing so much love for the little brother or sister they're about to meet.

I always encourage families to simply spend time together during their sessions. There's no pressure to pose perfectly—just genuine connection, natural smiles, and those little in-between moments that tell your family's story. It's these authentic memories that become even more precious once your baby arrives.

Pregnancy is such a fleeting season of life. It can sometimes feel long in the moment, but before you know it, your little one is in your arms and your bump is just a memory.

Capturing this chapter means you'll always have something to look back on and remember the excitement, anticipation, and love that surrounded your growing family.
