A Teddy Bear’s Picnic with Emmy & Wilf

There’s something extra special about welcoming familiar little faces back in front of my camera, and it was so lovely to catch up with Emmy and Wilf for another photo shoot. 📸💕

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them both individually before, capturing some of those precious milestones as they’ve grown. But this time, they came along for a session together — and what fun we had!

For their photo shoot, we headed into the woodland for our very own teddy bear’s picnic.

Surrounded by trees and nature, we created a lovely little picnic spot, complete with their cuddly teddy bear friends. It was the perfect setting for an afternoon filled with smiles, giggles, cuddles and, of course, just a little bit of mischief!

Rather than worrying about sitting still or posing for the camera, sessions like this are all about letting little ones have fun, explore and be themselves. Those natural moments often create the photographs I love the most — the cheeky expressions, spontaneous laughter and sweet little interactions that show their personalities perfectly.

One of my favourite parts of being a photographer is having families return to me over the years.

There’s something incredibly special about seeing how much little ones have grown since their last session and being able to capture another chapter of their childhood.

Having photographed Emmy and Wilf separately before, it was particularly lovely to have them together this time. Watching them interact, laugh and enjoy their little woodland adventure gave us so many gorgeous moments to capture.

These are the photographs that become even more precious as the years go by — little reminders of their personalities, their relationship and just how small they once were.
