Honest Motherhood Moments

Real life motherhood moments with fellow photographer Mia at our recent meet up 💛

No perfectly posed shots. No pressure for everything to look polished or “just right.” Instead, this session was all about documenting the beauty in the everyday moments — the cuddles, the feeds, the sleepy snuggles, and the quiet connection between mother and baby.

These are the moments that can feel so ordinary while you’re living them, yet somehow become the ones you miss the most as time passes. The tiny fingers wrapped around yours, the way your baby settles into your chest, the little expressions and movements that change far too quickly.

I truly believe motherhood photography doesn’t need perfection to be meaningful. In fact, the most powerful images are often the ones that simply reflect real life — the love, the chaos, the tenderness, and all the in-between moments that tell your story honestly.

Spending time capturing these memories for Mia was such a lovely reminder that photographs are about so much more than smiling at the camera. They’re about preserving feelings, connection, and fleeting seasons of life that deserve to be remembered 💫

These are the memories that matter most 🤍
