Mother & Son Magic at Leaf and Ground

I recently had the absolute joy of photographing Cloee and her little boy, Arlo, at the beautiful Leaf and Ground, and this session was filled with so many genuine smiles, cuddles, and playful moments ✨

These are the kinds of sessions I love most — relaxed, natural, and focused entirely on connection. There was no pressure for perfect posing, just time spent together exploring, playing, laughing, and enjoying the moment.

From piggyback rides across the grass to cuddles by the water and little adventures around the grounds, Arlo’s personality completely shone through. The bond between mother and son was so lovely to capture — full of warmth, fun, and those little in-between moments that often mean the most.

Leaf and Ground made the perfect backdrop for this family session too. The open green spaces, peaceful lakeside views, and beautiful countryside surroundings created such a calm and natural setting for photographs that feel timeless and full of life.

One of the most special things about family photography is preserving these everyday connections before they change. The way little hands hold onto you, the laughter, the cuddles, the playful smiles — these are the moments that deserve to be remembered forever 💙
